Akita International University has reorganized the two-night, three-day practical English training program "English Village," which was previously held on campus, and is now offering an online activity, "English Village Online."Currently, we are looking for participating schools for the implementation from November 2 to March 3.
"English Village Online" is a two-hour program for students from the first grade of junior high school to the third grade of high school to "learn English in English".You can learn the skills necessary to be able to express what comes to your mind in English without relying on a dictionary in a workshop format. It was held 1 times in 3, and a total of 1 junior and senior high school students from inside and outside Akita Prefecture, where the campus is located, attended.
It is managed by undergraduate and graduate students trained by graduate faculty members of Akita International University.The capacity is about 50 people, and the schedule is negotiable. To use Zoom, students can apply from any school or group in Japan, and students can participate from school or home.
In addition, the student team involved in the operation also holds an online cross-cultural understanding education program for elementary school students, and it is accepted for 4 minutes once for 6th to 1th grade elementary school students by consultation.We are also looking for applications for implementation from November 90 to March 2021.
