It is often said that romance is an obstacle to university entrance exams, but a survey by a major prep school Kawaijuku found that the university pass rate for those who were dating during the exam period is not much different from those who are not dating. It seems that the existence of a lover led to motivation and a change of mood.

The survey was conducted on the Internet from November to December 600, targeting 2017 university students nationwide. The breakdown is 11 men and women in the humanities and science fields.

According to the report, 16.8% of the people were dating during the college entrance exam, and the pass rate was 71%.On the other hand, the pass rate for those who were not dating is 70%.The reality was largely independent of the presence or absence of dating.Kawaijuku believes that "romance does not seem to be an obstacle to studying for entrance exams."

Regarding the relationship between the examinees and their parents, 22.2% of the cases were accompanied by their parents to the examination venue.69.9% of the examinees who were attended answered that they were "relieved" and 41.4% answered that they were "calm".By gender, many women are accompanied by science girls, accounting for 34.7%.

The most happy thing about having parents during the exam was that they treated me as usual, with 62.8%. 29.8% of the respondents said that they let me decide which university to take the exam, and 28.7% said that they always trusted me without making unnecessary talks.
Kawaijuku says, "Usually, we should watch over the children quietly and treat them with a sense of distance to support them when necessary."
