On March 2018, 3, Reitaku University published a moral textbook for university students, "New moral textbook for university students," which was produced in collaboration with students and faculty members.

Reitaku University began in 1935 when its founder, Dr. Chikuro Hiroike, opened a moral science major school. Even after the opening of the university in 1959, he has been focusing on moral education. In 2017, as part of the 150th anniversary of the founder's birth, we applied for approval from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology to establish a moral education major in the Graduate School of Education.

The newly published "Morality Textbook for College Students" is a textbook that considers morality from the perspective of university students. It consists of four chapters: "Introduction: The Meaning of Learning Morality at University", "Chapter 1 Thinking about Modern Morality", "Chapter 2 Basic Concept of Moralogy", and "Chapter 3 Guidelines for Moral Implementation".The aim is to encourage students to study independently by touching on the meaning of learning morals at university, basic ideas and guidelines, and presenting specific hints on "how to think and how to act."

The "Mortal Textbook for University Students" published in 2009 was a moral textbook as the first attempt in university education, and was used as a common textbook for the compulsory subject "Mortal Science" at Reitaku University. The feature is that it is created by spending time with the student monitor, and this time as well, with the moral subjectization of elementary and junior high school, discussions were repeated with the students again, and it was newly revised as a revised version of the "moral textbook for university students".
