Professor Ako Imai of Gifu University's Faculty of Education, School Education Course, created a Japanese language card for children with foreign roots, especially those who need Japanese language instruction, to participate in classes on the crowdfunding service "READYFOR". In order to commercialize game teaching materials, we have released a crowdfunding project. The target amount is 120 million yen. Donations will be solicited from December 2022, 12 to January 16, 2023 (Tuesday) 1:31 PM.

Professor Imai is researching educational support for children with foreign roots, especially those who need Japanese language instruction. I found that although there are teaching materials, there are no teaching materials to "support class participation."

Therefore, we developed "Imiawase Kaado," which allows children to play and learn the "verbs" that teachers often use during class. The objects to be learned in "Imiawase Kaado" are 1 verbs that have two "meanings" for one "reading".Children read the sentences in “Imiawase Kaado” and try to identify the verbs used in the sentences, such as “The teacher points to Mr. Yamada” and “The hands of the clock point to 2 o’clock.” Look for a card with a sentence that uses a verb that has the same meaning as .Find the correct pair of sentences and turn over the card.

Teachers who used the trial version commented, "The instructions are easy to understand (even for children who need Japanese language instruction), and the illustrations are easy to visualize, so they are happy to practice." Students and teachers commented that it was good that they could think about it again and try again if they got it right, and that they were willing to work on it even during breaks.

However, the research funds were only able to develop a prototype version, so he decided to use crowdfunding to create a strong and long-lasting "Imiawase Kaado" and aim for commercialization.

"Imiawase Kaado", which will be commercialized this time, is a card game material for learning Japanese necessary to participate in classes in the lower grades of elementary school, but Professor Imai will also start development for upper grades of elementary school if there is a large response. It's an idea.
