From May 2023, 5, Jissen Women's University has started classes in collaboration with the "#Kigaeyo Job Hunting" project.The theme is "the future of clothes for job hunting".This is the first time that Aoyama Shoji Co., Ltd., a major menswear company that operates the project, will hold an industry-academia collaboration class with a university in a project that addresses the clothing concerns of job-hunting students.

 Aoyama Shoji’s “#Kigaeyo Job Hunting” project increases the options for clothing when looking for a job, so you can choose with confidence that “this is” good, and an environment where you can do job hunting without getting lost in clothes. Activities started in March 2022 with the aim of creating.Current university students and business people from various industries participate in the activities as members, and there are currently 3 companies and organizations that support the project.

 The joint class with Jissen Women's University will be held seven times in the subject "Exercise IIA" of the Department of Human and Social Sciences, Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, with the theme of "Future of clothes for job hunting". Twenty-six second-year students are divided into six teams, and in addition to conducting surveys such as interviews with companies about the history and current state of job-hunting styles, as well as clothing designations during job-hunting, discussions are held within the team, and specific measures and materials are created. A final debriefing session will be held on July 7 (Wednesday), where Aoyama Trading employees will participate in the review and present the research results of each team.

 Jissen Women's University develops classes in collaboration with various companies in order to foster the ability to discover and solve problems on their own through inquiry activities.Professor Tazuko Hiroi, who is in charge of the class, said, "I feel uncomfortable with the standardization of black suits for students when they are looking for a job. I want my students to realize the importance of being deep and thinking freely."
