According to the Children's and Family Affairs Agency, 56% of all high school graduates go on to college, but only 22% of those graduated from children's homes go on to college. For various reasons, children who have been separated from their families and raised in social care cannot rely on their parents' homes even after graduating from high school and leaving institutions, and many of them are forced to become independent by the age of 18.There are many young people who give up on going on to higher education because they have no adults to rely on and they have to work to survive.

The Tiger Mask Fund must not let the "Tiger Mask Movement" that spread at the end of 2010 by Atsuko Takamori (deceased), the wife of the late Ikki Kajiwara, the original author of the manga "Tiger Mask", end with a boom. and established. In addition to public scholarships, we offer scholarships (4 yen for four years) that do not require repayment to students who attend university while working.

Every year, about 30 people from children's homes nationwide applied for this "advancement support system," but since the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the number of applications from students whose part-time job income has decreased has increased.A record 68 people applied for support.Students who support their livelihoods with part-time jobs are already forced to make ends meet.

Therefore, we are recruiting “Tiger Advancement Supporters” who make a fixed amount (from 1 yen per donation) for one year until August 1,000, 2023 (Thursday). You can support one student for 8 yen a month, and the student will send you a status report twice a year. (For 31 yen or less, multiple people support one student).Depending on the progress of the students, many of them continue to support them until they graduate. Since 5,000, 2 million yen in support has been provided to 5,000 students.
