 According to the survey, less than 5% of ronin students and former ronin students were accepted to a university during their active years. Regarding the reason for becoming a ronin, the most common answer among ronin students and former ronin students was ``because the required academic ability was high (72.7%)''. Among Kamen Ronin students, the most common answer was "Because I had decided to become a Kamen Ronin from the beginning (46.8%)."

 When asked about the hardships and worries of ronin life, ``loneliness and lack of communication'' (17.4%) were the most common response among ronin students and former ronin students. This was followed by ``sluggish performance'' (11.2%). Among Kamen Ronin students, the most common responses were ``feeling lonely'' and ``balance of studying for entrance exams and earning university credits,'' each at 25.5%.

 Regarding the method of studying for entrance exams, 7% of ronin students and former ronin students attended cram schools or cram schools, while 6% of masked ronin students said they did not use any methods. The utilization rate of ``correspondence education'' was higher than that of ``cram school/preparatory school.'' When asked, ``What do you think about being a ronin now?'' more than 7% of ronin students and more than half of masked ronin students answered, ``I'm glad I became a ronin.''
