The Kyoto University Graduate School of Computing (Shinshukan) and the Faculty of Computing, University of London Goldsmith have signed an academic exchange agreement and have begun art innovation activities centered on the Shinshukan.To commemorate this, an international symposium Art Innovation will be held at Kyoto University on March 2019th and 3th, 15.

 The Kyoto University Graduate School of Survival Studies (Shinshukan) has art in its eight fields of education and research. Based on the academic exchange agreement with the Faculty of Computing, University of London Goldsmith, which was signed in September 8, the two universities are working to connect the academic fields of science and engineering with new art fields such as media art.

 This international art science symposium is one of the concrete activities.With the theme of creating new value through art and science, Professor Naoko Tosa will be the chairman of Kyoto University, and Professor William Latham will be the chairman of Goldsmith (with simultaneous interpretation).Also, from March 3th to 14th, exhibitions of Art Innovation professionals and recruited works and projects with major companies will be exhibited at Kyoto University and Kenninji Temple.
