In recent years, the eSports market, which competes for games as a competition, has expanded rapidly.Against this background, Osaka University of Arts has been working with Capcom Co., Ltd. to deepen the understanding of eSports-themed event management and the current game industry among students, high school students, and even parents. Jointly hold an eSports competition.The event production research field of the Department of Art Planning is in charge of the management of the tournament with the cooperation of eSports Connect Co., Ltd.The event will be distributed on the Web using a relay vehicle owned by the Department of Broadcasting.
The tournament is a single tournament with a total prize pool of 18 yen (1st place 10 yen).There is no membership fee.Participation qualification must be between 15 and 24 years old on the day of the competition.Entry is from the entry site of Osaka University of Arts.The deadline is February 2019, 2 (Friday) 8:15.On the day of the tournament, a talk show will be held by Tomoaki Ayano (Capcom Co., Ltd.), a graduate of Osaka University of Arts and a promotion producer of "Street Fighter V".
