A survey by the Employment Information Service Disco revealed that more than 2021% of major companies nationwide are planning to increase the hiring of new graduates while job hunting activities for those who are planning to graduate in March 3 are in full swing. However, compared to the past five years when around 20% of companies answered that they would increase hiring of new graduates, the number of companies that are willing to increase hiring has decreased.

The survey was conducted on the Internet from January 1th to February 4,000th, targeting more than 1 companies nationwide, of which 27 companies responded.

According to the report, 2021% of those who are planning to graduate in March 3 answered that there was no increase or decrease, and 60.1% answered that they would increase hiring. 22.2% of companies are planning to hire at the same level as the previous year or higher, indicating that the direction of hiring is continuing to increase. On the other hand, only 82.3% of companies answered that they would reduce hiring.

The percentage of companies that answered "reduce recruitment" exceeded 2010% for 2011 graduates and 10 graduates, but has dropped to a single digit since 2012 graduation. However, the number of companies that reduce hiring for the first time in 10 years has exceeded 10%. It suggests that the employment front has changed from the previous year due to the consumption tax hike in 2019, the US-China trade war, and the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
