Kwansei Gakuin University has newly established a competitive sports bureau on campus to support athletic activities.This is because the athletic club, which has been an extracurricular activity, has been positioned as extracurricular education and incorporated as part of university education, and MBS Media Holdings' group company MG Sports will cooperate with the operation.

 According to Kwansei Gakuin University, the Competitive Sports Bureau will be established as the governing body for student sports.The university's future plan positions physical education activities as extracurricular education, and it was established in response to the announcement of the establishment of a student sports management organization in the long-term strategy up to 2027.

 The member groups are 8 groups and 10 teams, including the baseball club, American football club, soccer club, rugby club, and golf club.There are 43 athletic clubs and 3 cheering squad divisions on campus, and if there is an application, it will be judged whether or not to join.

 The Competitive Sports Bureau has restructured the athletic meet activities into a program of high educational value to acquire teamwork, leadership, problem finding and problem solving ability, and to acquire and career in the history, culture, psychology, management, etc. of the sport. Establish a formation support program.

 Furthermore, in order to contribute to the community that supports the athletic meet activities, the policy is to start new initiatives to become a university sport loved by the community, in addition to the conventional cleaning activities and volunteer activities.
