On February 2022, 2, Showa Women's University held an online project "Unconscious Bias-Stop and Think" in collaboration with Komaba Toho Junior High School, a school for boys.

Participating in the project were 1 first- to third-year students from the Faculty of Human and Social Studies and the Faculty of International Studies, centered on the Faculty of Global Business at Showa Women's University, and second-year students from Komaba Toho Junior High School.During the long homeroom time of Komaba Toho Junior High School, a university student who was trained in a "teaching assistant (TA)" taught by a student proposed a theme task, and based on that, the junior high school student tackled the task. ..

The themes are "What do you think at such times?" And "Changes in stereotypes seen from the reaction of the world."In 2021, junior high school students learned about "Disney Princess Transition" and "First Gentleman" in the project, and this time there was a lively exchange of opinions about the unconscious bias within them.

The two schools are close to each other, and in 2021 they started a joint project to think about "unconscious bias" when teachers and students from Komaba Toho Junior High School participated in a seminar on gender equality at Showa Women's University. We aim to understand others who have different values between "the most distant beings with no contact" such as female college students and male junior high school students. The project will continue for three years until 2023, and a joint report will be compiled.
