Chiba University has published the 2016 edition of the Environmental Report, in which students belonging to the Environmental ISO Student Committee acted as editor-in-chief, composition, writing, and design.It features six topics such as the introduction of solar power generation and the development of a new cultivation system at a plant factory.

 According to Chiba University, this year's editor-in-chief is Aiumi Ishikawa (3), a third-year student in the Faculty of Law, Politics and Economics. It took about half a year to complete the report.

 This year's report is 88 pages in total.

 With the incorporation of national universities, environmental reports have been obliged to be prepared since 2005.Since Chiba University has acquired the environmental standard ISO14001 mainly by students, the report preparation is regarded as an opportunity for practical education, and the report is also prepared by the students.

 Mr. Ishikawa, the editor-in-chief, said, "Through the work of the editor-in-chief, I not only gained an understanding of the environmental management system of Chiba University, but also learned the fun and difficulty of organizational management and interacting with people."
