Yanagisawa:In Kaisei, first-year junior high school students cultivate independence and autonomy by emulating seniors as role models through the experience of school events and club activities in the first semester. The faculty members do not say anything about their career choices.Recently, the number of graduates going to overseas universities is increasing, so probably because of this, more than 1 students are going to overseas summer schools this year.

There are about 70 club / club activities, and there are almost all club activities that I want to do. The "Pen Sword Fund" is a fund of 1 million units donated by OBs.Write an application for the research you want to do, just like a university faculty member, and receive an examination.Anyone, that is, a first-year junior high school student or a teacher, can participate. After passing the examination, you can spend an average of 20 to 30, and it is necessary to issue a report at the end.

Mothers may be the ones who feel the most lonely because there are many opportunities and opportunities to take on challenges and students will feel embarrassed to stick with their parents.

Kandori:Our school is said to value freedom and independence, but the students are much smaller than they used to be.Even though it is a boys' school, it is weaker than before.I think this is greatly influenced by the way we interact with our parents.Nowadays, both high schools and universities are all about globalization, but I see going out as "globalization in a broad sense", not just overseas, and I would like to increase such opportunities and strengthen the legs of students first.

I want to develop tough students who can challenge anything by not only strengthening the 4 skills of English but also properly acquiring the 4 skills of their mother tongue while giving various experiences such as learning outside the school as well as classes.I'm still looking for it, but I think so.

Yamagiwa:It requires individual guidance and one-on-one dialogue, and I think it is important to create such an environment. The ability to see which one is more feasible can be quite different with just a few suggestions from experienced people.

Kandori:With the singularity coming in the future, if you just learn the technology, you probably won't need a school. After all, I think that it is a school only if there are adults in a specialized group and you can learn various things, including good and bad things.

Momose:Certainly, I think that the current students and families have a strong tendency toward success.I'm also worried that some students may graduate before the rebellious period.Ride the rails laid by her mother and do not adventure.I'm afraid of other games. On the other hand, students who work on assignment research with SSH will become tougher.

Therefore, I am now expanding my research into humanities and social sciences as well as science and mathematics. I hope that the course will start from the first year and will be one of the opportunities to foster an attitude of challenging anything.I would like the students to take a step forward by giving them various experiences and creating opportunities to think more deeply, while taking into account family circumstances and financial problems.

At our school, we are also devising motivation for students, and as part of this, we welcome guests not only from university teachers but also from graduates and corporate research institutes to talk to us.

Yamagiwa:To motivate, I think we need to go up to the heights of the times and look ahead.I don't think it's necessary until you set a specific goal, but it doesn't matter whether you're in industry or academia, so it's great to hear from the people who are working hard there.

Sato: I was most interested in "Omoro Challenge".In particular, we are thinking of a mechanism to encourage undergraduate students to take on more challenges than graduate students.I was a little worried that some students were assigned to Chiba High School this spring and thought that they should do their best after entering university and graduate school.I wonder if the undergraduate students who apply for the Omoro Challenge want to do this for the time being, regardless of the future.

Yamagiwa:Some undergraduate projects have nothing to do with future research careers, such as wanting to go to Hawaii to learn hula.Putting your thoughts first and doing it naked and consistently, it should be a great power even if it is not directly linked to your future goals. There may be some misunderstandings in high school, but we don't want to enclose undergraduates in graduate school, because we're willing to go elsewhere to expand our potential.

Sato:I want high school students to take on this kind of challenge.I think that "challenge" is to go to university and deepen your research. At our school as well, there are research studies in integrated learning and the "Chiba High Nobel Prize", so I would like you to take on the challenge of research in this way and then go to such a university.

When I heard today's story, I felt that I wanted to take on the challenge of going to graduate school or going abroad after entering university, but also at high school and university.
