The school will change its name from "Women's Nutrition University" to "Japan Nutrition University" as it becomes a coeducational institution from 2026.

 As the Japan Women's University of Nutrition and the Japan Women's University of Nutrition Junior College will become coeducational schools from the 2026 academic year, the school name will be changed to Japan Nutrition University and the Japan Nutrition University Junior College.
