The Kitazato Aquarium Lab, a mini-aquarium of the School of Marine Biosciences, Kitazato University, has been holding a special exhibition "Aquarium at Aquarium Exhibition" since January 2022, 1.From aquariums nationwide where graduates of the Faculty of Marine Life Sciences of Kitasato University are enrolled, Hokkaido "Northern Land Aquarium (Mountain Aquarium)", Yamagata Prefecture "Tsuruoka City Kamo Aquarium", Kanagawa Prefecture "Shin-Enoshima Aquarium", Aichi Prefecture " "Takeshima Aquarium", Yamaguchi Prefecture "Nagisa Aquarium", the above 4 aquariums will exhibit the characteristics of each aquarium through the living body provided by each aquarium.
The Kitasato Aquarium Lab, a mini-aquarium of the Faculty of Marine Life Sciences, Kitasato University, was planned as part of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's project "College Student Employment Development Support Project (2010-2012)". Since the "Kitazato Aquarium Lab" is planned and operated mainly by students, it fosters a career consciousness that leads to social and professional independence of students, and develops human resources with employment ability and scientific and specialized knowledge. It has developed into a university facility that greatly contributes to.Currently, graduates who became aquarium staff through the activities of the "Kitazato Aquarium Lab" are active all over the country, and some of them have become directors and are enlivening the aquarium.
