"DIAGIRL" is an accessory brand created by students of Naho Sato Seminar, Faculty of International Informatics, Department of International Informatics, and Cambodian women, with the concept of "changing the world by changing me with" kawaii "" from 2015. started.Through the activities of the students, we are aiming to make social contributions everyday in Japan by letting them know that what they pick up as "kawaii" leads to social contributions.
The activity of "DIAGIRL" is to make accessories designed by students by Cambodian women and return the profits sold in Japan to local women. The theme of our activities in 2018 is "Connecting Sea Turtle Island and Cambodia".Sea glass and sea pottery picked up by children on the island of Okinoerabujima, Kagoshima Prefecture, will be used as accessories for environmental protection activities.The "unnecessary things" picked up to clean the sea and protect the sea turtles travel to Cambodia and are transformed into beautiful accessories by the hands of Cambodian women.
