"Diver-in employment" is a term coined by ISFnet, which combines the words diversity and inclusion. At ISFnet, we aim to enable people, such as LGBTQIA (sexual minorities), who companies have traditionally been reluctant to hire, to feel the joy of work and purpose in life through diverse employment. , are actively accepted. In IS F Net's diver-in employment system, even if a job applicant self-reports LGBTQIA, etc., it is not used as a basis for deciding whether to hire or not.

At ISF Net, we have been working on diver-in employment since our founding in 2000, and in addition to ISF Net, we are also working with ISF Net Joy Co., Ltd., which supports people with disabilities in preparing for employment, and General Corporation, which supports employment transition support. In total, 3 people (employment rate of about 74%) are employed by people with disabilities across the three group companies of FS Net Benefit Corporation. In addition, the FS Net Group calls people with disabilities ``FD Members (Future Dream Members),'' which means ``members who will make future dreams come true.''

This special class will be held for one week out of a total of 14 weeks in the second semester course ``Welfare Sociology'' taught by Professor Junka Yamane of the Department of Human Sociology, Faculty of Human Sociology. The course is aimed at second-year students in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and there are currently 1 students taking the course. In the class, lecturer Watanabe, Representative Director of ISF Net, looks back on the reasons why he started employing divers, his struggles, and his achievements, while learning about social models, reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities, employment issues, and his vision for the future.
