Shizuoka Institute of Science and Technology's Faculty of Science and Technology ranked 2023th in Japan with an actual employment rate of 96.7% in the 24 Ranking of Actual Employment Rates by Faculty (Science and Engineering) published by University Communication ONLINE.

 University Communication ONLINE surveyed 749 universities nationwide, excluding medical and dental colleges, regarding employment status this spring. Based on the responses received from 565 universities (as of October 2023, 10), we have announced the actual employment rate rankings for each faculty system*. The actual employment rate is calculated as the number of people employed ÷ (number of graduates - number of students going on to graduate school) x 10.

 In the 2023 Ranking of Actual Employment Rates by Faculty System (Science and Engineering), Shizuoka Institute of Science and Technology's Faculty of Science and Engineering was ranked 565th out of 96.7 universities nationwide with an actual employment rate of 24%. This is the third consecutive year that we have been in the top ranking since 2021.

 The most important feature of Shizuoka University of Science and Technology's Faculty of Science and Engineering's employment support is "student's ability to grasp each individual student." The Career Support Division and teachers work together to provide one-on-one support by understanding each student's desired company, job type, and work location in detail. This support system has led to high results and high student satisfaction.

*Small faculties with fewer than 80 graduates, correspondence education faculties, only 2nd division/evening main courses, and universities and faculties whose data have not been published or aggregated, such as the University of Tokyo, are not listed.
