Kyushu University President Tatsuro Ishibashi visited National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan, and signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the establishment of a three-university collaboration center with National Taiwan University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Kyushu University will further deepen its partnership with the two universities of the United States and Taiwan, which have been working together as strategic partners.

 According to Kyushu University, the memorandum signing ceremony was held at National Taiwan University, where President Ishibashi, National Taiwan University President Chen Wen, and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign President Robert Jones signed the memorandum and shook hands.

 Kyushu University has been collaborating with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since 2019 and with National Taiwan University as a strategic partner since 2023. In the future, we will deepen this relationship and promote exchange in both education and research through mutual cooperation between the three universities. Through this activity, Kyushu University, as a hub for international brain circulation, will advance the systematic international collaboration set forth in the "Kyushu University Vision 3."
