“Beyond SDGs Life Game (Official English name: “The Game of Life: Beyond SDGs”)” developed by Kanazawa Institute of Technology with Takara Tomy and others is a simulation game held in France from July 2023th to 7th, 4. Awarded "Best Exhibition Stand of ISAGA 7" at the international academic conference "ISAGA 2023".

 Kanazawa Institute of Technology has been accelerating collaboration with various organizations to achieve the SDGs since winning the Deputy Head of SDGs Promotion (Chief Cabinet Secretary) Award at the 2017st Japan SDGs Awards in 1.As part of this initiative, we will develop the "Beyond SDGs Life Game" with Takara Tomy Co., Ltd. and others in 2022 to develop the SDGs education we have been working on so far.It has been distributed free of charge to elementary, junior high and high school educational institutions across the country.

 At this year's "ISAGA2023", Kanazawa Institute of Technology will present a paper on the educational effects of educational activities using the "Beyond SDGs Life Game", as well as hold a pre-registration workshop where conference participants can actually experience the game. and participated in an open exhibition session to all participants.In addition, since "Beyond SDGs Life Game" currently only exists in the Japanese version developed for educational institutions in Japan, in order to participate in this conference, we will develop a translated booklet with the contents translated into English and an app that allows you to check the English translation. By using this method, he was able to overcome the major handicap of the language barrier and win the award.

 “Beyond SDGs Life Game” has received high acclaim in Japan, including winning the JIDA Design Museum Selection Award from the Japan Industrial Designers Association (JIDA), and is currently being used in over 300 elementary and junior high schools nationwide. It is used in higher education institutions, and more than 1 students and children experience it every year.This award means that the work has been highly evaluated not only domestically but also internationally.
