Wakayama Shinai Women's Junior College (Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture) will become co-educational from April 2025, and the name of the university will be changed to Wakayama Shinai Junior College (planning is underway).

 Wakayama Shin'ai Women's Junior College was established in 1951 (Showa 26) by the "Short Sisters of the Young Jesus of Chaufaille", and was established in 1955 (Showa 30) as Wakayama Shin'ai Women's Junior College. , has consistently been responsible for girls' education in Wakayama Prefecture. However, in light of the current social situation where gender equality is progressing and people are required to fully demonstrate their individuality and abilities regardless of gender, we foresee the role of Wakayama Shinai Women's Junior College in developing human resources in Wakayama in the future, and we are considering co-educational. decided to do so.

 Along with the transition to co-education, we are planning to change the name to ``Wakayama Shinai Junior College.'' As soon as the details are officially determined, we will update them on the Wakayama Shinai Women's Junior College official website.
