Kanda University of International Studies will host the Eiken IBA® test for those who wish to take the Kanda University of International Studies and for third-year high school students and examinees nationwide. We will provide an opportunity to measure academic ability for third-year high school students who are worried because they cannot measure their own English proficiency due to the cancellation of external qualification tests such as Eiken ® and various mock tests.
The Eiken IBA® test provided by the Eiken Foundation of Japan is a test exclusively for group exams, which is positioned as a pretest for the Eiken®.Although it is not possible to obtain qualifications, it is used in school classes and cram schools because it is easy and inexpensive to compare grades with the same score scale as Eiken®.
The Eiken IBA® test to be conducted this time is "Test B (2 skill RL)", which measures the Eiken® level in the range of 2nd to 3rd grade. Not only the level level of Eiken ® but also the reference score converted into the score of the center test and TEAP is displayed on the personal report card, so the examinee's own English ability can be objectively measured.
The test will be conducted in the morning and afternoon for a total of 7 days, July 19th and 26th and August 8nd, 2rd and 23th.The venues will be Kanda University of International Studies and Kanda Foreign Language Institute, and on the day of the event, the safety and security of the examinees will be the first priority, and the measures will be taken to prevent new coronavirus infections (August 30). Only held at the Kanda University of International Studies venue). The examination fee is 5 yen, and you can apply from the Kanda University of International Studies website.
At Kanda University of International Studies, many entrance examination categories are based on external qualification examinations such as Eiken. However, in view of the fact that certification tests have been postponed or canceled due to the effects of the new coronavirus infection, it has also been announced that special measures will be taken against the standards for external tests and certification tests in English.
