On December 4, 2020, Akita University, Cable Networks Akita Co., Ltd., ALL-A Co., Ltd., and Cyberd Co., Ltd. developed a method for estimating psychological and physical condition changes when implementing esports for the elderly. Announced a partnership regarding joint research between "and analysis".

 This joint research is to study and analyze how "e-sports" has an effect on the healthy life expectancy of the elderly in Akita Prefecture, which is an advanced prefecture with a declining birthrate and an aging population.The results obtained will lead to the solution of problems in an aging society with a declining birthrate and the development of game content for the elderly.

 Cyberd provides knowledge about game content, and Kageyama Laboratory, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Akita University is in charge of image data processing, feature analysis, algorithm study, and programming. CNA Akita Cable Television will provide knowledge for data shooting and system construction, and ALL-A will provide knowledge for the elderly.

 In the research, we performed human sensing targeting the elderly, such as measuring emotions while playing a competitive game, and faced facial expressions and eye movements from the perspective of "elderly" x "esports". Data analysis is carried out focusing on the information obtained from and body movements. Scientifically clarify how esports works for the elderly.
