The author was preparing for the lecture with Imuraya, Circle K Sunkus, and Recruit with the cooperation of the Chubu Keizai Doyukai as a lecture to develop this basic ability for working adults. This lecture was a so-called industry-academia collaborative lecture in which students plan products for Imuraya to be sold at Circle K, and Recruit gives advice on how to plan.

The industry-academia collaborative lecture itself had existed before, and although the author himself had some teaching experience, the best thing about this lecture was that the cooperating companies were very strict in dealing with the students. That is.Some people have said that even before the lecture started, "students cannot think of planning products that can actually be used in the field of business," and the author also said in his experience of teaching university students. I generally agreed. Therefore, in this lecture, I thought, "Even if only XNUMX% of the students remain until the end, let's ask the students for everything that is required in the field of the company." I decided to share it with you.

Students think about plans many times and announce them, and business people criticize them from a real business perspective. The result of repeating this process many times has actually come to fruition as a product of Imuraya limited to Circle K, and it will be released in units of hundreds of thousands for a limited time (Chart 3).

XNUMX. XNUMX.Significance and challenges of active learning

In recent years, many universities have been working on industry-academia collaboration between companies and universities, which was not so common when the author gave a lecture on basic skills for working adults. Many of them are called active learning (AL), and it may even be possible to say that AL has become a trend in the university world.

According to the definition of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, AL is "a general term for teaching and learning methods that incorporate the active participation of learners in learning, unlike one-way lecture-style education by teachers .... Omitted ... It includes learning, problem-solving learning, experiential learning, research learning, etc., but group discussions, debates, group work, etc. in the classroom are also effective active learning methods * ".In other words, AL is, in a word, the one in which the students actively participate in the lecture, and the method is not questioned.Of course, industry-academia collaborative lectures can also be regarded as one of AL.However, the author feels some problems with the recent industry-academia collaborative lectures.
