This is a national competition for high school students sponsored by Tohoku University of Art and Design.Although it is called design, it does not compete for the technique of modeling expression.It is a national convention as a place to announce the results of learning using inquiry-type learning, active learning, and design thinking.
In high school, we are engaged in inquiry-type learning and subject research classes, and every year, we receive about 1,000 proposals from all over the country.Teams that have passed the first and second rounds will advance to the finals and attend a public presentation.At the final competition, we will comprehensively judge the viewpoint of problem finding and its analytical ability, inquiry ability, proposal ability, expressive ability, etc. by question and answer with judges who are active in various fields such as education and creative.
Ideas and projects announced at the convention will be realized afterwards as events that represent the region.It is a contest that combines educational effects and regional revitalization.
