A research group of Juntendo University Advanced Research Organization for Health Sciences, Myonien Ang, Associate Professor, and Professor Shigeyuki Yuasa of the Faculty of International Liberal Arts investigated the Japanese elderly community and found that they contributed to healthy aging and lived. It was clarified that it contributed to the maintenance of quality.

As a result, it was found that the elderly community in Japan is maintained in public spaces by the voluntary participation of the elderly, and that trainers and other leaders are covered by volunteers.

Among the elderly community, groups engaged in long-term care prevention campaigns played a role in reducing the feeling of loneliness among the elderly and maintaining social ties among local residents.Groups that enjoy social and cultural activities have become places to share values, helping older people to become more independent and enjoy their lives.

The research group believes that Japan's example should be incorporated into the social policies of neighboring Asian countries, where the population is aging, as the reality of Japan, which is the world's most aging society, has become clear.
