At Showa Women's University, Yamanote was completed in two years by Keisuke Tamura, Associate Professor, Department of Environmental Design, Faculty of Life Sciences, for two days, November 2019th (Sat) and 11th (Sun), 9, which is the school festival period. A model of the premises of all 10 stations on the line will be exhibited.
At Tamura Laboratory, we are focusing on "stations" as a means of transportation to create new cities as society changes. In 2010, the transition of Shibuya station was announced for the first time as a model at "shibuya1000_02" with the concourse of Shibuya station as the exhibition venue, and in August 2019, Yamanote at the "Tokyo Bridge and Civil Engineering Exhibition" sponsored by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Construction Bureau. We exhibited a model of the premises of all 8 stations on the line.
In this "Yamanote Line All Stations Model Project", students from the Tamura Laboratory of the Department of Environmental Design and the architecture course of the same department made a model of the premises of all 29 stations on the Yamanote Line in two years. Each project member is in charge of multiple stations. After studying such as collecting the premises map disclosed by each station and actually observing the station, create 2D data and cut the wood with a laser cutter. At a scale of 3/500, the entire 1 stations on the Yamanote Line are faithfully reproduced from complicated passages to small steps.
The "Yamanote Line 29 Station Model" exhibition will be held for two days from November 2019th to 11th, 9 during the Showa Women's University School Festival. The time is from 10:2 to 10:00.The venue will be the 16th floor of Showa Women's University Building 00.
