On January 2020, 1, Mynavi Corporation announced the results of the "Mynavi University Student Career Awareness Survey".This survey surveyed 9 male and female first- and second-year college students about their current thoughts on work and job hunting, and this is the third survey (previous survey: conducted in February 1).

First is the result of a survey on the participation status of internships.Of the first and second year students, 1% (up 2 points from the previous survey), which is one in four, have already participated in the internship, which is the highest number ever. The percentage of students who want to participate in the future is also 4%.Furthermore, 1% answered that they would like to visit the OB / OG from the first and second grades.

From this, it can be seen that internships are spreading not only to current university third graders and graduate school first graders, but also to lower grade students, and they are researching industries and companies from an early stage. In addition, among the students who answered "I want to try it from the first or second year of university", the percentage of students who had the opportunity to think about work in junior high school and high school and experience such as career guidance was higher than the students who did not have experience.

In the survey on where to work in the future, the percentage of respondents who answered "I want to work locally" increased by 5.8 points from the previous survey to 33.9%.By region, the Tokai, Hokuriku, and Koshinetsu regions accounted for 45.3%, which was overwhelmingly higher than other regions.

Next, in the survey on what I think is the most anxious about the future, "money (27.4%)" and "marriage (16.8%)" followed, exceeding "job hunting (15.2%)".It seems that many students want to lead a stable life by thinking about their careers and lifestyles from a long-term perspective, not just the job hunting activities in front of them.

Regarding future child-rearing, 32.3% of male students answered that they would like to take childcare leave and actively raise their children. From this, it can be seen that men's awareness of participation in housework and childcare is steadily increasing.
