The survey was conducted from August 8th to September 25th, targeting 9 national, public and private universities and colleges of technology.According to the report, 11% of the respondents on average nationwide faced each other in the second semester class.Of these, 1,060% in the Hokkaido / Tohoku region, 19.3% in the Chugoku / Shikoku region, 33.9% in the Kyushu / Okinawa region, and 33.0% in the Chubu region, which exceeded the national average, but the Kanto region, where many people were infected with the new corona. The area is 25.4% and the Kinki area is 21.0%.
Regarding the ratio of online classes and face-to-face classes, the percentage of universities that answered that they were almost face-to-face reached 40.5% in the Hokkaido / Tohoku area and 39.4% in the Chugoku / Shikoku area, while only 10.8% in the Kanto area and 17.3% in the Kinki area. It was below the national average of 20.4%.
Only 3.8% of universities in the Hokkaido and Tohoku regions answered that they were almost online, while 32.7% in the Kanto region.The national average is 19.0%.The four districts of Kinki, Chubu, Chugoku / Shikoku, and Kyushu / Okinawa accounted for 4-12.3%, and only the Kanto region, which has the highest number of infected people, was prominent, and many universities offered classes online only.
