According to an analysis by Professor Masaaki Yamada and Professor Michikazu Sekine of the University of Toyama Regional Cooperation Promotion Organization, 5.6% of elementary school students in Toyama Prefecture have symptoms of game addiction.In particular, the percentage of boys is high at 7.8%, and the research group thinks that measures such as having a regular lifestyle are necessary.

 According to the University of Toyama, the survey was conducted in 2018 as part of the "Toyama Anshin Net Workshop Project" conducted by the Toyama Prefectural Board of Education, targeting approximately 4 fourth- to sixth-grade elementary school students in Toyama Prefecture. We analyzed the responses of 6 people.

 The percentage of children who cannot control the game time reaches 37.5%, and 2% of the children who spend more than 50.1 hours on the Internet.19.1% of children have a priority on games in their daily lives, and 14.3% have serious problems in their lives. The longer the internet usage time, the stronger the tendency.

 In addition to having a regular lifestyle, the research group points out that it is necessary to increase parent-child conversations and create rules within the home.
