The National Center for University Entrance Examinations will carry out an English trial survey (pretest) of the "Common Test for University Admissions", which will be introduced in 2020 instead of the current National Center for University Entrance Examinations, at cooperating high schools nationwide from the 13th.The content of the question and the preliminary figures of the correct answer rate will be announced in the middle of March.

 According to the National Center for University Entrance Examinations, pretests are conducted to create questions, verify scoring, and start a new test smoothly, and are intended for second-year high school students. It will be held at any time from February 2th to March 2rd at 13 ​​national and public high schools nationwide.The number of high school students who will participate is expected to be about 3.

 The new test English will utilize private qualifications, certification exams, etc., and will evaluate the four skills of "reading," "listening," "speaking," and "writing." Until 4, the exams prepared by the center will continue, and the university can decide to adopt either the center exam, the private exam, or both.This pretest will be conducted for the center test.

 The test time is 80 minutes for writing and 30 minutes for listening.Listening is divided into two groups, A and B, and try the method in which the sound is played twice for all problems, or the method in which the number of times the sound is played is mixed once and twice.We also plan to conduct a questionnaire survey.

 In addition to mathematics and national language, which adds descriptive formulas to the mark sheet formula, a total of 11 subjects including civilian, geographic history, and science were pretested in November 2017.
