On Saturday, November 2023, 11, Kobe City University of Foreign Studies will hold a lecture by graduates titled ``Experience the outside world and create a new you'' for high school students who want to attend an international university in the future.

 On the occasion of its 75th anniversary (2021), Kobe City University of Foreign Studies has adopted the brand concept of "HaMiDaSu" and is introducing students who are active beyond their "shells" and "academic boundaries" on a special website.Through various stories of students who have stepped out of the university framework and gone out into the world, we are communicating the appeal of Kobe, an international city, as a hub of knowledge and as a public university that provides educational opportunities that do not leave you feeling alienated by social disparities. .

 Yuki Nobeoka (graduated from the Department of International Relations in 2016) and Anna Asai (graduated from the Department of English and American Studies in 2020), who will be speaking at this lecture, are among the students who have taken the plunge.Mr. Nobeoka became interested in issues around the world through his love of soccer, and while he was a student, he worked at an international cooperation NGO to help people affected by conflicts in Asia and Africa become self-reliant.After graduating, he worked in Cambodia and worked for NPOs and NGOs both domestically and internationally, and currently focuses on urban development in Japan.While attending school, Asai studied abroad at Monash University Malaysia and majored in marketing.She is currently involved in strategic planning for domestic and international clients at Dentsu Inc.

 At the lecture, Mr. Nobeoka and Mr. Asai will share their experiences in a panel discussion format, and after the lecture, there will be a networking session where participants can talk directly.For university students who want to work or study abroad but are unable to take the first step, and for high school students who are considering going to an international university in the future, we provide information about what an experience abroad will bring to you in society. We provide an opportunity to talk about how we can help others and give them a boost.

 The lecture will be held on Saturday, November 11th from 18:14 to 00:16 at ANCHOR KOBE in Chuo Ward, Kobe City.Participation fee is free.Applications will be accepted for the first 30 people to participate in-person.The reception period is October 70th (Friday) to November 10th (Thursday). The lecture from 13:11 to 16:14 will also be streamed live online, and you can watch it without applying.
