Kanazawa University's "Japanese Mathematics A-lympiad" is a team of 3 to 4 people enrolled in the same school, who read the problems that can occur in the real world (English) created against the background of current global issues, and then mathematics. The ability to discover global issues, collaboration based on independence and active communication, ability to logically compose reports, English ability, etc. will be comprehensively tested.The content of the questions covers not only the natural sciences but also the social sciences, and the participants are not limited to the humanities and sciences.
The team with excellent grades will be recommended and dispatched as a representative of Japan to the "Math A-lympiad" held in the Netherlands, and will be qualified to apply for the extraordinary special entrance examination (A-lympiad selection) that the university will carry out from the 3rd year of Reiwa entrance examination.
