Kyoto City University of Arts is an art school with the longest history in Japan, which is over 140 years old. It features "high-quality small-group education" and "cross-sectional education that transcends barriers" between faculties, majors, practical skills and classroom lectures. We also emphasize "theoretical education".Kyoto University of the Arts' education is to develop the potential expressiveness to be even more brilliant by thinking with a broad interest in society without relying solely on sensibility and intuition.In October 2023, the campus will be completely relocated near JR Kyoto Station.For the future, we aim to be a "terrace-like university" that opens up new perspectives while interacting with diverse people and deepening exchanges.
