Mr. Kanno was born in Chiba prefecture in 1981.He was devoted to baseball with elementary, junior high and high school, but he broke his cervical spine in an accident while surfing and was forced to live in a wheelchair.After being introduced by an acquaintance, I turned to Wheelchair Rugby.
He was elected to represent Japan in 2007, participated in the previous London Paralympics, and finished 4th. In 2013, he was the captain of the Japanese national team, and also won the 2014th place at the 4 World Championship Denmark Tournament.He has won the long-sought bronze medal at the Rio Paralympics.
