Really interesting as a researcher!I really want to know what I think!Sometimes I think that it does not fit into the format of "thesis" or the frame of "society" -under such a concept, interdisciplinary with only one A3 size conceptual diagram (so-called punch picture) The "Kyoto University Interdisciplinary Research Idea Contest" was held at Kyoto University, a forum for intellectual exploration between researchers across disciplines, competing for the essence of research themes.

 This contest is the 5th time this year.This is a prize-contest-type research incentive project aimed at creating opportunities for research, where researchers can collide with each other on research themes beyond the boundaries of their fields, and apply as a team of two or more researchers from different fields. There are rules.
The judges of the final judging committee are President Toshikazu Yamagoku, Professor Kota Asano, Professor of Graduate School of Human and Environmental Studies, Professor Yoshiko Takahashi, Professor of Graduate School of Science, Akiko Suzuki, Professor of Graduate School of Education, Yasuko Takezawa, Professor of Institute for Research in Humanities, and Yoshimasa Nakamura. Director of Education and Research Promotion Center, Professor of Graduate School of Informatics.In addition, Norio Wada (NTT Special Advisor), Hiroshi Fujiwara (Chairman and CEO of BroadBand Tower), Hideki Sasaki (President of Nippon Bunka Publishing), and Yoshiaki Nishimura (Chairman of Sumitomo Riko) met as outside experts.

 At the final screening of the contest, 10 teams that passed the written screening spent 100 million yen on the research fund of the Best Kanae Award and held a 3-minute "bullet presentation" and a poster session.

 Whether the evaluation standard is "it is at the heart of things, so it is interesting". The award-winning research themes in 2017 were the following five.
