When the Nikkei Glocal, a specialized magazine on regional revitalization and regional management published by the Nihon Keizai Shimbun on November 11th, investigated the degree of regional contribution of universities across the country, Nagoya City University ranked first in the nation for the second consecutive time.  At Nagoya City University, the Faculty of Pharmacy collaborates with the ward office to hold pharmacy classes for elementary and junior high school students, as well as holding public lectures, reading picture books aloud in their native language by foreign students, and relearning for people with medical experience.
