Otsuma Gakuin has formulated a new medium-term plan based on a vision and strategy for the next 2028 years, aiming to become a top group of women's universities in terms of education and research by 10.
Otsuma Gakuin was established in 1908 (Meiji 41) by Kotaka Otsuma as a founding philosophy of "Women's Integrated Education for the Independence of Women".We have cultivated female professionals who have a wealth of education and compassion, who have acquired practical skills and who can work together as a team at home and at work.
In the medium-term plan for 2028, which was formulated this time, the philosophy of education and research will be reconstructed in response to changes in the social situation over the next 10 years, while keeping in mind the traditions so far. The mission of the academy was to "cultivate independent and self-reliant women who continue to learn and work," "education and research activities that play an active role in girls' education," and "contribution to the realization of a sustainable symbiotic society."
