The "Hosei Science and Technology Forum" will start in 2019 with the aim of introducing the contents and results of Hosei University's research and technology to companies, regions, and the general public. In 2019, it was held at the Ichigaya campus, but in 2020, in consideration of the impact of the new coronavirus infectious disease, a special site was opened and it was held online.

　At the online "Hosei Science and Technology Forum 2020", 16 faculty members belonging to the Faculty of Science and Research Institute of Hosei University will introduce their research contents and their results with videos.As a special lecture, a lecture "Mystery and Creation of Inspiration" by Professor Emeritus Kajiro Watanabe of Hosei University will also be given.Each video will be distributed on the special website of "Hosei Science and Technology Forum 11" from 20:12 on November 2020th (Friday).

　Hosei University opened the Aviation Industry College in 1944 and established the Faculty of Engineering in 1950, immediately after the establishment of the new university, and has contributed to the development of postwar Japan.Currently, the Faculty of Science has 4 faculties, 13 departments, the Faculty of Information Science, the Faculty of Design Engineering, the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and the Faculty of Life Sciences, and the Graduate School of Science has the Graduate School of Information Science, the Graduate School of Design Engineering, and the Graduate School of Science and Engineering.In addition to basic research, we are also promoting a number of applied research that is useful for a sustainable society, such as robot suits and diagnosis of plant diseases. Many graduates have been active so far, such as developing QR codes.
