"Don't stop sports" is a general incorporated association that advocates "an educational program that empowers people to live in the present age" as one of the three pillars of their activities. Hanae Ito, a former representative of Japan for swimming and a doctor of sports science, was appointed as a director on March 3, 2021. We have started the "3 Project", an education and information dissemination project that faces people with their specialized and scientific knowledge.

Of the one year (1 weeks), about 52 weeks of female athletes feel sick due to menstruation, which often overlaps with important games and training. Therefore, we set up the "12 Project" to support an environment where female student athletes can face the competition more in their own way by creating a place where each person can know their own cycle and best condition, and acquire and consult with the correct knowledge about menstruation. I raised it.

Mr. Ito, a core member of the project, once experienced the impact on performance due to the side effects of the pill that he had taken for the first time due to the overlap of his menstrual period with the Beijing Olympics. After that, I faced the issue of "how to deal with menstruation flexibly".

By starting the "1252 Project", the cycle and condition of women under the guidance of medical experts will be used as a "place" for communication that connects various stakeholders surrounding female student athletes and activates information and dialogue. We will make it a place to provide information that delivers correct information on management to schools and instructors.

Currently, we are looking for schools (junior high school / high school / university) that can cooperate with the activities of the "1252 Project".Specifically, we are considering conducting an awareness survey questionnaire for students / instructors, and conducting seminars and classes by top athletes and medical personnel.

* For high school athletes who have lost the opportunity to appeal to higher school due to the cancellation of the tournament due to the corona, Takeshi Nozawa and Toshiaki Hirose, former rugby representatives from Japan, will take the lead in providing opportunities for play appeal in place of the tournament. The activity "# Don't stop sports 2020" started by the members.Initially, there were two competitions, rugby and basketball, but the same efforts began voluntarily in competitions such as handball and judo, and they are spreading as a "don't stop sports" movement that transcends the boundaries of competition. The general incorporated association "Don't stop sports" was established to be a driving force for further expansion and development of this movement, rather than ending it with a transient one.
