The Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Promotion Office plays a role as a specialized institution for promoting entrepreneurship and commercialization at Ritsumeikan Gakuen (Ritsumeikan University, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, and affiliated schools).The number of venture companies originating from Ritsumeikan University, centered on research seeds, increased from 2017 to 2020 when comparing FY26 and FY60, 2.3 times (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry "FY2 University Venture Survey" From) increase.
