The most distinctive feature of our international human resources education is the variety of programs that faculty members themselves have created in detail to meet the needs of students, in addition to the fact that there are many agreements regarding study abroad.In principle, long-term regular classes are taken for one year (2 semesters), mid-term classes and language training are taken for 1 months to XNUMX months (XNUMX semester), and XNUMX weeks to XNUMX months for spring / summer vacation. It can be divided into short-term classes such as homestays, overseas study tours, overseas internships, and international volunteers.

In the long-term and medium-term, in addition to the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and the Faculty of International Cultural Studies, the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Commerce are also covered.We are also actively encouraging undergraduate students who are not directly studying overseas to be open-minded and not have a weakness toward foreigners, as they were at the time of opening. Is a feature.Most of them work in Japan, and about half of them work in Aichi prefecture, but most of them are in the manufacturing industry and most of them are in the export industry.Even if I work for a small business, I often come in contact with things written in English, such as letters of credit (LC) and invoices.The short term is for all faculties and departments, and students from the Faculty of Rehabilitation and the Faculty of Sport and Health can also participate in tours related to their respective specialties.In addition, there are many incentives for studying abroad that are not obligatory to return, and it is a characteristic of our university that the percentage of students who use them is high.

Under these circumstances, in order to further accelerate the development of global human resources throughout the university, we will acquire a new land of about 2018 m10,000 in 6,000, two years later, and establish a global link (tentative name) of about XNUMX mXNUMX there. I plan to build it.It is a major evolution of the current International Lounge (i-Lounge), and it is possible to immerse yourself in a foreign language by devising both hardware and software, such as an English-only space where native speakers are resident and an area where you can learn multiple languages. We aim to create a unique space.It will be a facility where you can experience overseas and gain international understanding while staying in Japan, such as experiencing languages ​​and other foreign cultures.When completed, it should be one of the largest similar facilities on campus not only in the Chubu region but also in Japan, and is being used as a culmination of the university's international education and as a flagship that will lead the next generation.
