The National Calligraphy Contest, a major event for Japanese paper, which was held at the same time as the establishment of the All Japan Calligraphy and Culture Institute in 1950, celebrated its 72nd anniversary.
Excellent works will be exhibited spectacularly at the National Art Center, Roppongi (the venue for the 51st Zen Calligraphy Exhibition).The award ceremony will be held on Sunday, December 12th at Josui Kaikan, and awards will include the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award and the Governor of Tokyo Award.
In addition, we will continue the popular "Ichijisho section" this year as well.
