The 16th Calligraphy Performance Koshien (National High School Calligraphy Performance Championship) will be held on Sunday, July 5, 7 in Shikokuchuo City, Japan's number one paper town.
While refining the essence of calligraphy as a traditional culture, this tournament will contribute to the creation and development of new culture by exploring the charm of new calligraphy, promote interregional exchange of art and culture through calligraphy, and paper. We will promote industry and revitalize the region.In addition, by providing a place for high school students who are engaged in calligraphy performance to perform on a nationwide scale, we aim to increase their motivation for calligraphy and develop creative human beings. The purpose is to promote independent activities, mutual exchange and goodwill.
