The "High School Photo Award" is held to improve the photographic expressiveness and technical skills of high school students.
Until 2013, the High School Photo Awards have been held by calling on high schools with photography clubs in Osaka Prefecture, but from 2014, we would like to invite more participants to hold the awards. We are recruiting and exhibiting youthful works for high school students nationwide.
Photo critic Kotaro Iizawa, Tomio Sugaya, director of the Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka, and photographer Tetsuro Shimizu will join us as guest judges.Outstanding works are awarded the Grand Prix (grand prize), the Osaka Governor's Award, the Osaka Mayor's Award, and the Photographic Society of Japan Chairman's Award.
