Sponsored by Obunsha / sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Ministry of the Environment, and the Children and Family Affairs Agency (planned), the "National Science and Technology Contest" aims to promote research, art and literature among elementary, junior high, and high school students nationwide, and to nurture their individuality. It has been held every year since the first event was held in 32, with support and support from various fields, and this year marks the 1957th time.Many schools from all over Japan as well as overseas have participated, and last year we received more than 67 works.
This year as well, we are soliciting works in two genres: the science genre (science and social studies research fields) and the curatorial genre (art, literature I, literature II, and the environment).It is a comprehensive competition in which many divisions are established in a wide variety of fields, and children and students can apply for works created in their respective fields of specialty.
Outstanding works will receive the Prime Minister's Award, the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Award, the Minister of the Environment's Award, field awards, and various awards from cooperating companies and organizations.
