Chiba University of Commerce (Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture) mainly promotes the introduction of renewable energy and promotes energy-saving activities on campus by students in order to contribute to the creation of a sustainable society.
[February 2019: Achieved Japan's first "2% natural energy university (electric power)"]
As part of this activity, high school students, who will be responsible for the future of Japanese society, will present their thoughts on how to build a sustainable society regarding important social issues such as global warming countermeasures and energy problems. We will hold an "Environmental Speech Contest".
