The Sankei Shimbun, in collaboration with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office to Japan, will hold the 20th Japan-Taiwan Cultural Exchange Youth Scholarship, which aims to promote cultural exchange between Japan and Taiwan.
This project solicits ``essays'' about Taiwan from Japanese students and awards outstanding essays.This time, as a supplementary prize to the grand prize, we will restart the Taiwan study trip (scheduled for late March 2024), which was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.Grand Prize and Excellence Award winners will be invited to deepen mutual understanding and exchange between Japan and Taiwan.
The theme is "About Taiwan".Education in Japan and Taiwan about Taiwan from my point of view, the future of Japan and Taiwan, the bond between Japan and Taiwan, the charm of Taiwanese culture, what I want to do with my generation in Taiwan, what I can do for Japan and Taiwan, and exchanges with Taiwanese students. Differences, Japan-Taiwan sports exchange, places I want to go to in Taiwan, encounters between me and Taiwan, etc.
