The Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo, in cooperation with Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Metro), held "Railway Workshop 2017-In the event of a disaster" for junior and senior high school students on July 7 and 25, 7. "Let's acquire the power to think with your mind" will be held.We are currently looking for participants.
This workshop is held for the purpose of developing the next generation of human resources by utilizing each other's resources in collaboration with the Tokyo Metro and the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo's Next Generation Development Office.
"Railway Workshop 2017-Let's acquire the ability to think with your own mind in the event of a disaster-" is a course that uses the summer vacation period and is the fifth collaboration project with Tokyo Metro.This time, we will tour the facility at the Tokyo Metro General Training and Training Center in the morning, conduct experiments and lectures at the University of Tokyo Komaba Research Campus in the afternoon, and hold an exchange meeting to deepen the friendship between the participants.
The number of applicants is 40 for each of the junior high school and high school classes (80 in total). The junior high school class will be held on Tuesday, July 2017, 7, and the high school class will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2017.There is no membership fee.For inquiries, please contact the "Railway Workshop 7" secretariat.
